The Global Industrial Process
Planning Phase
The project commenced with an on-site consultation to assess the client’s operational needs, including varying product sizes, loading capacities, and pedestrian traffic flow. Key priorities identified were high-capacity racking for heavy pallets, secure pedestrian walkways, and optimised small-parts storage.
Design & Compliance Considerations
Our design team worked closely with the client to create a layout that balanced maximum storage with safe, efficient movement. Racking systems were engineered for up to 17,000kg UDL bay capacity, with configurations ranging between 5 and 9 levels. For the outdoor area, mesh back panels were integrated to meet fall protection standards where a wire fence was insufficient.
Personnel safety was a major consideration, prompting the inclusion of clamp-style handrails to separate walkways from the forklift and workshop zones.
Delivery & Installation Process
All components were staged for delivery and installed in a phased process to minimise site disruption.
