Warranty, Returns and Refunds
At Global Industrial Pty Ltd (ABN: 47 109 368 676), we stand behind the quality and durability of our products. This policy outlines our approach to warranties, returns, and refunds to ensure transparency and customer satisfaction.
We offer two distinct warranty policies, depending on the product purchased:
- Global Lifetime Product Warranty – Applies to all products excluding Paramount Boxes toolboxes.
- Paramount Boxes 24-Month Warranty – Applies specifically to our Paramount Boxes product range.
Each warranty has its own terms and coverage, which are detailed below.
Global Lifetime Product Warranty
All Global Industrial products (excluding Paramount Boxes toolboxes) come with a Global Lifetime Product Warranty, covering:
- Structural failure If any part of a product structurally fails under normal use, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
- Defects in materials or workmanship If a product has any material or workmanship issues during its lifetime, we will repair or replace the faulty component at no cost.
Warranty Conditions:
To ensure your warranty remains valid:
- Products must be installed and used for their intended purpose.
- Any structural or material faults must be reported in writing as soon as possible.
- You must allow us to inspect the product during business hours if required.
Note: This warranty is only valid for the original purchaser, is non-transferable, and applies only to new, unused products installed within Australia.
“Lifetime” means the total period of twenty years commencing on the date of delivery to the Customer or date of first commercial usage by the Customer of the Global product or part.
Warranty Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover:
- Misuse, negligence, incorrect installation, or unauthorized modification
- Environmental damage or general wear and tear
- Acid or chemical damage
- Cosmetic damage or powder coating
- Products altered or repaired without prior approval
- Removal, reinstallation, or freight costs
- Third-party products not supplied by Global Industrial
- Financial or indirect/consequential losses
We reserve the right to update or improve product designs without the obligation to upgrade previously sold items.
Paramount Boxes – 24-Month Warranty
All Paramount Boxes include a 24-month warranty from the purchase date, covering structural and mechanical components such as, including locks, hinges, gas struts and runners
Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Accidents, negligence, or misuse
- Natural disasters or environmental conditions (e.g. hail, wind, bird droppings)
- Cosmetic issues
- Acid or chemical damage
- Theft or attempted theft
- Improper maintenance or aftermarket modifications
All Paramount Box warranties are return-to-base, and the purchaser is responsible for all return freight costs.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure
- Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
- Repair or replacement if goods fail to meet acceptable quality and the failure is not major
Returns & Refunds
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product within 14 days, subject to the following conditions:
Eligibility:
- Goods must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging
- Return shipping is at the customer’s cost
- Proof of purchase must be provided
- A 10% restocking fee may be deducted from your refund
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item, once all criteria are met.
Initial freight charges are non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for adequately packaging returns to avoid further damage. Global Industrial is not responsible for items damaged in transit.

To lodge a warranty claim, contact your nearest Global Industrial branch with the following:
- A description of the issue
- Photo evidence
- Proof of purchase
