Brad in the Perth office was approached by Elders to discuss their new shop design and interested in any suggestions. Originally the client considered gondola shelving but later settled for Longspan shelving due to its design flexibility, strength and appearance.
Hand drawn floor plans of the main showroom and back storeroom were provided by the client.
They indicated the areas they wanted the shelving to be positioned.
By seeing these sketches and measurements allowed Global to determine which depths and lengths best suited the space.
Global arranged delivery with a local contractor and installation was completed by the client.
Used for its flexibility. Various heights, lengths, depths and number of levels.
Some areas were fabricated to a custom 1500mm height as part of the displays in the centre of showroom.
The use of mesh was both a practical and aesthetic feature. Allowing light and visibility through each level made sure the area wasn’t too dark. The mesh also created an industrial look to the shelving.
Used as a backing material to hang carded and bagged items vertically using 150mm hooks, also supplied by Global Industrial.
